Abiotic factors are the non-living factors that affect organisms.
Salinity is one of these factors in the marine biome. 96.5% of oceans are composed of salt water. There are more than 70 billion tons of dissolved substances in Earth's waters. Examples of some of those substances are rocks,sand,sea shells,etc.
